Villa Queirolo

Villa Queirolo is one of several residential and historical villas in the Rapallo municipality, built during the Belle époque of the late 19th century.

It is located at the mouth of the Boate torrent, right at the beginning of the Via Aurelia Occidentale, at the point where the road splits in the direction of Recco and Genoa on one side and Santa Margherita and Portofino on the other.

Over the years, it was the seat of city schools, until the restoration and adaptation work that transformed it into the Rapallo City Council’s ‘House of Culture’. It is currently home to the two city academies, the Cultural Academy and the Aesthetic Academy, as well as a multipurpose facility for conferences and courses held by various city associations.
